What sources do we rely on day to day?
We use primary sources – official government documents, parliamentary records, court rulings, press conferences, direct interviews and reputable Swedish and international wire services – as the foundation of every article. Our fact‑checking desk, led by Jessica Fischer, verifies all factual claims against multiple independent sources before publication. We also draw on academic research and specialist reports where relevant. When we use AI‑assisted tools for research or drafting, those tools are never allowed to fabricate quotes, sources or interviews – a rule enforced by our AI automation policy. How do we handle mistakes?
