Werbe- & Affiliate-Hinweise

Sachstruktur (sachstruktur.de) is funded through a mix of display advertising, affiliate links, commercial partnerships, sponsored content, newsletter sponsorships and content licensing. This page explains how those revenue streams work, how we maintain editorial independence, and what you can expect from our commercial content. For a full breakdown of our ownership and funding, see our ownership & funding page.

How does advertising work on Sachstruktur?

We display standard banner and native advertisements across our website. These ads are served by third-party ad networks and are clearly separated from editorial content. Advertisers pay for placement but have no control over our news coverage or editorial decisions.

What are affiliate links and how do we use them?

Some articles and product recommendations contain affiliate links. When you click on one of these links and make a purchase, Sachstruktur may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Every affiliate link is clearly labelled as such, either inline or in a disclosure notice at the top or bottom of the article. Our editorial team selects products and services based solely on journalistic relevance, never on commission rates.

Do sponsors or advertisers influence our journalism?

No. Commercial relationships never determine editorial conclusions. Our reporters and editors make all content decisions independently. Sponsored or commercial material is clearly labelled “Sponsored” or “Advertisement” to distinguish it from editorial content. For the detailed rules governing such content, please read our sponsored content policy.

How do we label paid content?

Any content that has been paid for by a third party — whether a sponsored article, a native advertising unit, or a newsletter sponsorship — is explicitly marked with a disclosure. We do not allow advertisers to influence the tone, facts or conclusions of our independent reporting. If you see something you believe is not adequately disclosed, please contact us.

What you can expect from us

We commit to being transparent about every revenue stream that supports our journalism. You will never see a piece of content that blurs the line between advertising and independent reporting. Every article – including those containing affiliate links – is written and edited by our editorial team, following the same fact‑checking and editorial standards outlined in our editorial policy and fact‑checking policy. If an error is made in a sponsored or affiliate‑linked piece, we correct it in line with our corrections policy.

How can advertisers or partners work with us?

Enquiries about display advertising, sponsorships, affiliate programmes or commercial partnerships should be sent to advertising@sachstruktur.de or partnerships@sachstruktur.de. Our commercial team will provide a media kit and discuss placement options. All commercial agreements are subject to our standard terms and editorial safeguards. For general press or business queries, use press@sachstruktur.de.

Questions or concerns?

If you believe a piece of content on Sachstruktur is not properly disclosed, or if you have a complaint about any commercial practice, please email our publisher at publisher@sachstruktur.de or use our complaints procedure. For fact‑checking concerns, contact factcheck@sachstruktur.de (Jessica Fischer, ansvarig för faktagranskning). We take transparency seriously and will respond promptly.
